didnt exactly answer my rhetorical question but still did answer it nonetheless.

being a christian is not actually just believing in god or believing jesus it is actually following the bible, so it drops down to .00001% of real christians around the world.

mezzir, i hope he comes back tomorrow too. you might see the spectacle in the collegian.

as for the being a christian, someone argued that they were christian but they still were involved in the things that the speakers were against. does this not make them a true christian?

i mean i really wish i could have heard the answer from one of the speakers. if you try to follow the word of the Lord, but still partake in things like pre-marital sex or lying, then what exactly does that mean?

What a bunch of hypocritical dingle berries.

Hmmm, let's see...

Matt 7:2-5

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye ? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

There is no one in the entire world who has not sinned in the eyes of "God"... if this is the case, NO ONE should be judging anyone else in a religious context, unless they are willing to judge themself under the exact same light.

People who will say "you are a sinner" but will deny, or not admit that they too are a sinner, are idiots.

And what is the point of telling people they are sinners? We know we are. The story of Jesus dying for our sins, which pretty much everyone has at least a vague understanding of, explains that God knew that people were sinners, and that it was inevitable.

If you are going to preach about something, preach about how God will FORGIVE your sins if you try to redeem yourself. You know... the GOOD word!

Stupid bass ackwards religious zealots.

ha yeah i'll def see it in collegian, my dad knows all the people who run it (he works at the student union, deals with RSOs)
and i got class in machmer tomorrow at 11:15, i'ma try to go a few minutes early just in case :p

ha and also, if he's there, he better not catch me in a bad mood, cause i swear any claims he makes, i can tear them to shreds on a purely logical basis, no anti-god rhetoric involved :thepirate
Theresa
You know what would make my day...

a fat religious guy telling me that I am a sinner.

I would look at him and say, "you are a true hypocrite in every form of the word, and I hope that your God punishes you in the way that you believe he will for being, not only a sinner by your gluttoness ways, but being an idiot too."

:D

Wow, I am anti-people today.

Frenchie
today?? lol

I'd love to see this happen with J. Pie there. Her hate for fat people and your hate for... people in general would make for one hell of n argument.

On a good day I love everyone and am huggy etc. etc. but when people become self-righteous morons, it really rubs me the wrong way.
