yep thats what us singles do in nyc, use our food shopping bags as trash bags thus not having to purchase garbage bags...its efficient and free! |

but don't you use a lot of little bags then? granted you may not be buying garbage bags....but a lot of little bags makes more garbage than one big bag, amirite? |

| We have a market here called "Food 4 Less", mostly for the poor Mexicans in my neighborhood, and they make you bag your own stuff. I didn't know that the first time I went and I was just standing around like "uhh...hello? baggo my groceritas por favor". I hate that place :stongue: |

| Well it's true. That place is ing wank! It's a good thing our landlords told us about the Vons that's a few mins away, I was sick of shopping there. It was a bit cheaper than a normal supermarket but everything in there was spanish...and it smelled bad. And it was full of Mexicans!! I couldn't win. |

in my old neighborhood up in chicago, there was a few grocery stores like that. honestly, one of them i didn't even know how to pronounce the actual name of the store.
another one was called super mercardo's and everytime i saw it i laughed because i thought of super mario. |

Then do it. Just go in the meat department and ask if his 'meat is tender or not'. Then before he says anything say, 'because I don't like my meat...tender...', then walk away. This works best when not wearing underwear fyi. |

Well I don't see how 1 person can have so much garbage to require a bunch of plastic shopping bags. Usually I leave the paper bag in the plastic and use both together as my garbage bag. To which I bring it down to the garbage room and deposit in the bin. So the bin then becomes a garbage bag of garbage bags I guess
City living for sure! |
