what a crock of .
back when i was in high school i have been asked many times if i wanted to buy a gun for $100. and this was not in a ghetto area too...
guns are everywhere in the city and anyone who wants to buy one can find one easily.
miller needs to stop point fingers and admit that we have a problem in our own backyard and what he plans on doing about it. |

Yeah, and hang them up to dry, instead of the typical slap on the wrist, and a release several months later.
RIP the poor kid, way too young. Yes, its a media feeding frenzy, yes its sensationalism. Those are just tools of the trade I suppose. I don't know what I feel more saddened by; the fact that the young kid died, or the fact that the sheer terror and paranoia will yet again lead to ridiculously absurd laws and shallow forms of 'control'. |

Its not tools of the trade. There was a time that media ethic stated that you NEVER show a grieving family out of respect. Especially not a close up! And that wasnt even that long ago. sadly times change very quickly.

I believe in most cases the hand guns do come from the U.S., in exchange for Canadian drugs.
Yes, this story will be sensationalized, but the this is not a normal occurrence, and just because the U.S. is starting to get used these incidents, does not mean we have to lower our bar and brush it off.
Sure illegal stuff went down at my high school, sure I took part sometimes, but never did I feel like somebody was going to pull out a gun. Maybe I was naive about what I, or others, were taking part in, but I always felt safe at my school. |

Maybe not now, but I would think that people there have just had enough of killing. Although the war never touched Croatia as much as the rest of the former country. |
