I would like to take this time to make a complaint.
As you see in my title I used the popular TA expression " OMFG"
and this really pisses me off.
Every time I see it just makes me wanna puke.
Is there no other way for some of the members here to express their emotions besides using profanity with the Lord's name?
I will end my thoughts on this now until I get some response as to what other people think about this....

No, serious, you're true mate, but I didnt really stood still with the meaning of it, im not an englishman or american so it sounds different for me.
But I agree with u lets stop it!!!

| im not a religious person so i can only try to understand how it can piss u off. personally i don care, it a habbit by me. in my perfict little world people can say what ever they want and its up to the second party whether its "insulting" or not. my advice i guess is dont sweat it. people have different views and cant all obey by ur rules and regulations. because it gonna be around and its never gonna go away. if i were to say it i dont mean it by insulting just to show as an expression, and im sure everyone who uses it dont mean to disrespect either. its just a word like any other. no physical harm done :) |

i understand and respect your convictions, but do you think EVERYONE will comply? are you gonna teach all the newbies not to do that? plus its just 4 letters put together, frankly i ignore most of the smileys and net-isms i see. i dont wanna offend you by saying this, but if those 4 letters make you wanna puck you either need: pepto-bismol, or to get thicker skin. ive NEVER writtin that, and dont see a reason to. maybe im the biggest pessimist there ever was, but i dont see how you will change the way people speak/type with one thread...sorry/

oh yeh most people dont really take offence to the word, i mean i coudl say i take offence when peopel use number after the word pepi but would you respect that? i doubt it. im not being nasty, im just spellin out the truth and i doubt anyone would respect your views. and on another note im probably the worst person to ask, becuase im athiest and swear too much :) |

I think you are being a little over sensitive about this.
Since that anagram was created to state an emotion, and direct insult God. I think you should be more mad if someone curses or use derogatory words.
I use it more as an excited term, but I actually say "Gosh" when I verbally say it.
