Retail manager was probably shagging Polly wants a cracker. Surely there must be some sort of legal procedure you can follow for wrongful dismissal if you want to fight your case.
I personally wouldn't as you would have slowly gone nuts working in that sort of company. |

is polly hot? if she is, i will allow it. |
NO. She is the most obnoxious woman I have ever met in my life. She has a BOB haircut for christ's sake!
She is 31, married (somehow). She graduated high school early, went to school at McGill (great school in Montreal). Speaks French and German fluently. Plays the cello in an orchestra. Lived in France for a year with her husband. Her favorite word is "lovely". She's a complete two faced presumptious bitch. Makes me want to vomit in my mouth, etc.
ANNNNNNNNNNNND: SHE'S LEAVING AT THE END OF THE SUMMER! ...so why get me fired? |

Why don't you put together a resume and try for an office job? You'd be surprised how many people work in professional jobs that are young, not very experienced and (not relating to you) are clueless. I'm sure you'd be able to wing it, if you're clever. Besides, the pay and prospects are there to be had. I had my first "office" job when I was 19... making $36K/yr. :)
If u need help with resume, holla. I used to write tons of them for my students (taught at computer school).
good luck, don't fret it. could be a good move and motivate you to take a step in a right direction.
cheers. |
haha yeah. im on ta ALL day (ask the c0r lol) and i make 42k a year!
caela: randstad is where i get all my really good jobs. thats how i found this one! just make up a resume, call the local office and they will get ya a good job. if your worried that they are going to put you in a ty position just to place you, fear not, as this will NOT happen. their pay structure is not like any other agency. they dont get comission for placement. they get a bonus each quarter if they (they as in the whole team not just the one person) meet certain productivity goals. if they dont then no bonus. so they are all working as a team. THE best employment agency imho. |

I dunno, New England in general is pretty taxed when it comes to real estate/housing costs. Especially Burlington, where the out of state students eat up all the housing. It's really hard to find anywhere in the "city" that doesn't cost less than $500/month per person.
edit:
...no results for burlington vermont. gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...i need to move out of here. anyone looking for a roomate? :) |
