I got some nasty trojans from a popup in the CORe

Swamper, I've been a member here for a few years, and I don't mean to on your site. But I happened to browse the CORe as a guest (on IE6 to boot) and got *one* gigantic pop-up that immediately gave me a few trojans, viruses and unwanted programs, such as "Quikbar"
I know I made the mistake of:
Not being logged in
Using IE6... if only temporarily
But which one of your advertisers did this? :whip:
This is some nasty you got here. Thank goodness this isn't my main computer. I haven't seen anything like this in years. I feel vulnerable.

more likely you got it from various that already attacked your IE before you went on TA.
TA has no pop-up advertisers as far as i know. |

| if you're not logged in, there ARE pop ups and i have had problems with trojans too |

| yea i was actually going to say something about that. and TA logs you out automatically too so i wasn't even logged out and browsing on purpose and i got like 4 popups and was like wtf. |

Besides, Swamper doesn't pick the ads, the company that delivers them does. |
