Beeing shy!!. How do you overcome it?

Ok here it goes. I'm a nice guy but incredibly shy. If a see a cute girl somwhere party etc I want to talk to her but I'm shy and do nothing. Now if a drop a little something something (wink wink) or get drunk i'm a totally different person talkative outgoing. When I sober up its back to normal. Is there any hope??

First off, you have to think 'right'.
Second off, you are good, everyone is good.
- Ok.. if you walk away from this girl you end up with nothing.
- If you talk to the girl and she says 'no' you end up with nothing.
- If she kind of likes you, you end up with +1 friend.
- If she LIKES you, boy you got a girl!!
- Note, at parties everyone is super friendly!
Its all about the vibe, spread it, love it most of all BE IT. Wurd...! |

This is not an easy thing to do.. it'll take you at least 6 months - a year of focusing on getting rid of it... trust me.. I know.
First... when you think you can't do something because you're "shy" just go ahead and do it... it'll be painful at first but TRUST me once u do it you'll see it's no big deal and you'll continue that trend with other things... whether you start with something big or something small is up to you - but do it soon cuz it's a waste of time being shy
All that wasted time thinking.. "I could've... I would've but...., etc" will eat away at you.
Just do it.

problem at parties = u hardly get a chance of talking to a girl, smth i like to do before i try anything, because the music is too loud n stuff like that
in bars n stuff, usually am drunk, & when im drunk, well... im drunk :)
i cant do anything with girls when they r drunk as hell either, guess ive got too much of a consience when it comes to girls... |

and paulinski dude...u jus described me also :) jus stay alive and things will happen.some guys make it happen and for some it will happen - i believe there are only these 2 types of ppl.stay positive. :) |

| yep i use to be really shy. now im just a little shy. you just got to know that people arent going to hate you for talking to them and if they do well there not the type of person you want to be talking to anyway. and i hate to say it but taking E and acid really opened up my personality around people! also going to places where you feel totally comfortable. like raves! oh yeah and being around people who increase your self confidence! at least thats what worked for me. but it takes a really long time! :) good luck! |
