Pitch resolution counts if you care about smooth mixing. The 800 clocks in at 0.05% granularity, whereas the cheaper CDJ-200 model sports 0.02% (same as the 1000). I don't know why anyone would bother with the CDJ-800 to be honest... it's a mid-range deck with only twice the pitch resolution of the 100 starter model; not enough to really make a lot of difference... you'll still be standing there "riding the pitch" for this half of forever, assuming, of course (again) that you care about smooth mixing.

Well, do you want technology to work for you, or are you content to work against technology? 800s are fine if all your music is right at 142 BPM... since you're not a noob, you know why that is... right?

stop right there..dont waste your cash on 800s hehe i have a pair in the closet from yeeears ago and knowing what i know now i would have rather the cdj200s lol,... even check out the 1000mk2s they are standard for clubs.. i know when the mk3s came out some ppl bitched that they couldnt hold on mix with mmastertempo, but i think they were just lame and couldnt hold a mix period bc they were newbs who used MT anyway:B but a firmware update has been released since but again ive never seen any problems testing the out of the mt on them..

spend most of your cash though on your mixer.. djm800 is a good time, i have a xone92 i take out to parties thats a fun mixer too.. but my 800 will never leave my place, its my baby..*cuddles it*
