I tend to agree (I know, how strange)
It's my belief, just based on the people I know that have tatoos, that only a small portion of people have something on them that has a really deep meaning, one that will sustain the meaning of the tatoo itself throughout a lifetime.
I personally don't like anything enough to put it on my body forever, and things like personal values or people important to me can be valued/remembered in other ways. |

That's the ing problem right there, generic tats; I mean Chinese char: more than half of the people don't even know what the character means, it's just "cool"...
and butterflies, it might be girlie and all that, but what the hell does it say about the person? (that she likes butterflies?)
the hottest tattoos are the ones with meaning, not coolness...

the chicks who usually follow trends are the ones who are insecure and non-confident. Most of them get inked because they demand attention (i.e. guys looking at their asses, boobs and other bodily parts).
Tats are ok as long as they are in the right place and have a meaning; but still.....meh to them. |
