No, I'm saying that for some women, they get these huge tats done and it's part of who they are. Their tattoos mean something important to them and they will always be proud of them, hence why they have them done somewhere obvious. Superficially it will not be as nice as the day they had it done, but that won't stop them from showing it off. Also, many women who get big ones done are in jobs/industries where it's appreciated regardless of age and not seen as something dumb they did when they were young.
Then you have girls who get a squiggle on their ass crack or some design around their belly button because they have a hot body, and I question whether the tattoo means enough to them to have them be proud of it in 20 years regardless of how it sags/fades. And that's when I think it will look ridiculous - when it's clearly something they had done to try and look sexy at some younger age. |

I agree totally. I see tatts as a good way to express yourself, or mark a memory. I love all of mine, im not really into regret, so i dont want to get rid of/change and of mine but that might change andddd obviously.. coverups are possible haha

-2 stars on my wrist, which my best friends have matched
-A heart/symbol matching another friend, on my inner hip
-"Barbi" on my outter hip, its my nickname loll
-A side piece with stars and a quote.. which isnt finished
-"I love the Scandal" [yes from the ying yang twins song]on my thigh, its my biggest piece and kinda just a joke..
-"Whore" in my lip.. on the inside.. which is NOT permanant.. and a joke with the above mentioned friends [who got "****" and "slut"]
-and my newest one is right next to the scandal one, its an old fashioned boom box spitting out mad amounts of notes.. just because i have a music themed piece started haha

honestly, at 50, would you really appreciate the fact that you did them? it seems like half of them was done as a joke, and in 25-30 years time, will you really be happy that you such writings on your skin? |
