everything has to be somewhat symmetrical on my desk...

oh, and like Mikey...i like everything even :D haha...not a big fan of odd numbers.

Also, where are the OCD Grammar freaks?
Moral Hazard
Idiosyncrosies, nerosis, and preferences are not even in the same ball park as obsessive compulsive disorders. I would venture to guess that there are very few, if any, people on this board that would meet the diagnostic criteria for OCD. Seriously folks, unless you have some sort of highly developed ritual that you must complete prior to preforming one act or another without exception or you suffer a total inability to function unless you first preform said ritual then whatever your picadillo is it does not even approximate OCD.

we had a prof who had serious OCD.

Whenever he would write on the black board, he would have to erase something...even if there wasn't anything to erase. He would erase nothing! Also, while writting something, he would randomly stop and go erase something on the other end of the blackbaord.

We kept a tally and he would do that like 50-75 times a class.

He also kept drawing stuff (mainly Delta signs) until it was 100% perfect. He would re-draw a triangle like 5-6 times before he was fine with it haha

hallo here im!!!!!!1111

When I see a sentence fragment or an improper use of a word, I actually feel sick. I get knots in my stomach and can't help but cringe.

When someone makes a post on TA that is full of grammatical errors, I can't even read it (no matter how important the post may be).

"They're" and "their" are TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WORDS, FFS!

My bed has to be made before I get into it, which I usually do in the morning, but if not, at night before I get into it.

-the volume ALWAYS has to be on an even number
-no food stuck between my teeth while eating, i'll stop get it out, then continue again.
i have a couple more, hard to think of them right now until they actually happen.

Same, with the volume thing, it has to be on a multiple of 5.

Others:
- Everything has a place on my desk, not just my room, and they're all aligned perfectly with the edge of the desk
- When I'm watching videos on YouTube, the mouse has to be in the same position all the time (between the video and the description)
- Every single song on my computer has to be renamed AND retagged to follow a distinct pattern (e.g. Sets will always have the date at the end like [2007-07-17], every word in a song name has to be capitalized), and I won't listen to any song until I've done that
- Every item of clothing in my closet is organized by type, and then colour

The list goes on... <-- every time I write an ellipsis, the first dot is attached to the last word, and there must be exactly 3 dots, or else...

You wanna see REAL OCD? Walk into the dementia ward of any hospital, or take a stroll through a long-term care facility. There's a resident I work with at one of my jobs who asks me every 30 seconds (I you not) for towels/paper towel/toilet paper/her laundry/when can she have a bath.

Yea THAT'S OCD.

Yeah, I'm like that too. Hate mistagged things. Discogs is like my most-visited site. But in sets I put the date first - I find it easier to organize the sets this way, so all ym sets have this format for naming:

[YYYY]-[MM]-[DD] - [Artist] - Live @ [Venue, Event, Radio Station, etc]

I'm starting to see that most TAs are just well organized.
