as much as i am not a fan of JP, who da cares if he plays there or not??? (seriously) |
Yeah you're right....I don't really give two s if he plays there or not..... I hardly ever go out anymore. But I think it's a poor move for Cielo because of the image they have right now. Yeah most DJ's do drugs.....hell DJ's do drug while spinning @ Cielo lol. But for the most part those DJ's have a reputation as good/skilled DJ's that can handle their . JP is like the poster child for Captain Crack Head. Just because you can spin 48 hours straight while whacked out on meth and G does not make you a skilled DJ. I don't think that's the image a club like Cielo is looking for. I will admit that I have never seen JP spin.....but lets face it, the guy is a clown. Every year his parties in Miami are a disaster....and after everything that happened to him in Miami this year and after reading his press statement I have every reason to hate on the guy. But hey....I'm sure Cielo's private bathroom stalls will accommodate JP's crowd just fine....at least that's one reason to go....if you're a JP fan.:haha: |

| biggest problem with JP at Cielo is that the venue is going to be introduced to a whole bunch of idiots and meat-heads who wouldn't have gone there otherwise. many of them will come back, ruining the somewhat "underground" vibe there. |

| I am not going to keep commenting on this subject, but I will say this. JP parties, for the most part, are a fun time if you know how to regulate your self. The vibe that "his dedicated following" is one that is legendary to Underground NYC. For those of you that actually went to Sound Factory on a consistant basis, you know exactly what I mean. Yeah, you have that particular group of meatheads that OD on G and , but that was/not the entire crowd. There were plenty of people that were friendly, always in a good mood, and there to dance their ass of and have a great time!!! |
