JPs events are fun as hell. ive never had a problem at any one ive been to. i also find it hard for someone to hate on him who has never seen him live and experienced one of his events. yea his miami events were a disaster, but i was at both of em and still had an unbelieveable time. Its funny that the majority of the people on here hate him and rip on what happened at WMC this year, but i kno the majority of the people on this board are huge Armin fans and if something happened to armin at WMC like it did JP, no one would say anything negative. Ud all prolly make excuses that it was bad luck or something, but because it was JP, everyone s all over him. i find it hard to believe JP is at fault with electrical problems in a torrential downpour and in miami pigs giving the hotel noise ordinance violations while hes spinning.

You're wrong there buddy.....every DJ takes their fair share of bashing no matter what. And like I said, I admitted I never seen him and under normal circumstances I wouldn't bash anybody without giving them a fair chance BUT I have heard sets from JP, heard some of his productions, heard some of his remixes and they do nothing for me at all. The impression I get from JP is that hes an egotistical prick and it's pretty clear he thinks he's gods gift to EDM after winning that lame award. I'm sure people do have fun at his events and I'm sure not everything that happened to him in Miami was his fault as well.....but I'm also sure that it's not just a coincidence that something goes down every year. I dunno after reading his press statement about how he was "just about to RIP IT SICK" like 10,000 times.....I was like wow this guy is a douche bag.

every DJ had to deal with the same conditions JP did down at WMC. Did you hear Sasha & Digweed bitch about it? NO!!

What about JP's piss pour performance at Rehab in Vegas on MDW. He is the only DJ in the history of Rehab to get BOO'd off the decks. He killed the Vibe at Rehab that nite.

America's #1 DJ had his chance to deleiver in two prime time cases and failed miserablely at doing so.

I've had my handful of JP events weather it was Surf, Merge, Bliss, Abyss, Studio 9, SF and even Metropolis so i've earned the rite to rip on him. I would give JP 10x more credit if he dumped his entire mgmt team startin with Lou B.

Anyone else think that JP looks like the guy from "Blowout" Jonathan or whatever his name is...

Random question, but ::shrug::

exactly
ever since he left factory he had his chance to make his name bigger beyond nyc
and he failed
he gets a few gigs outside of the nyc area a year
he had his chance in miami after he won americas best dj
to show everyone at wmc what he was all about and he failed
and yea i do agree his managment is to blame also
but his productions have suffered as well

sasha and digweed?! god how many times have i heard people bitch about their sets that they were so boring they might as well have brought a sleeping bag and pillow! what a joke those 2 r...absoulutely awful. and so JP ed up twice...ok how many times have other top world headliner djs ed up and not played to their potential...for sake i hear people bitch about tiesto on this forum constantly. and armin has done his fair share as well...every single dj, no matter who they are, has the times when the dont impress the crowd, and everyone knows that. JP is no different. for me personally, ive never been disappointed, but imsure others have, but it doesnt mean every other dj is exempt from not performing to their full potential.

From this statement I take it in your eyes JP is a "top world headliner Dj"......The word "other" lead me to believe that...

haha....and he's just as in gay as that prick.

On a side note, that dude from blow out needs to evaluate how important his role in society is, seriously, you do hair! nothing against hair dressers, but at the end of the day the world wouldn't be a worse place without them. Maybe a bit less attractive, but nonetheless we'd be fine. ;)

For the most part, comparing any of those DJs is apples to oranges. They each represent a distinctly different taste in music. You're right, every DJ has off nights. However, one should be able to objectively judge whether that's the case or whether the style of EDM that DJ spins simply isn't their cup of tea.
