best venue in the city hands down.
I would be very happy if that place re-opened as an EDM venue, but it would piss me off to no end if most of the club was sectioned off as VIP, which I could see happening. |

Zizak - Space isn't a VIP club so no worries. Mansion on the other hand.. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeh.
That'll be cool I guess if there is a Space up here. Lp is a smart club owner.
But how late do clubs stay open up here? I don't know of any afterhours spots??

You watch bro....he's a smart guy. The he pulls in Miami might not fly as far in NYC but the guy has been around forever and Space has outlasted every club in Miami pretty much. They put Twilo out of business in less than a year and that place was sick! The only reason Pacha is keeping it's head above water is because it's the only big room in NY right now and believe me if there was competition they would not be making enough money to pay their way out of all the trouble they have been getting into. |

yup agreed
all the born-again clubs became compromised in terms of main floor and sitting areas. but still, if renovated, it may end up being a HUGE improvement over IKON. i guess we'll just have to wait and see. Space Miami DID have a rather large main floor (prior to its renovation a few yrs back at least) -- im just praying the NYC venue will be similar.... |

did you got to Space when it was one entire huge floor??
Before they closed up the top part to make it the 2nd floor and Terrace??

NO I DIDNT!!!! :( well at least i dont THINK so.
the only time I was down there was WMC 2005 then June 2005 for Ferry...
well it WASNT bad when i was there tho altho *that* morning they had the roof over the terrace bahhh :( :whip: |

Exit would be amazing if it got a facelift, and there was some semblance of a terrace on the roof... although with NYC regulations, that ain't happening anytime soon.
I can't imagine how sunburned I'd have gotten if space miami didn't have a roof on the terrace during sander or deep dish... |

yeah, they could do some serious damage on NY's club scene if they hooked up that roof deck.
think about how many rooms Exit had...

The best club in the city, had a number of good nights there. I hope they re-open it like Exit, none of the Ikon
