yea agreed scoops no way boris is making that much cash
no disrespect to him
i just dont think hes in the mid to upper 10's of thousands of dollar for a booking
i can see dt gettin that much and jp for only at pacha
if anyone would pay jp 50k a night to spin at their club should be hit upside the head |

no one argues they arent worth that, i know for a fact they get that cuz that is what i was told by the promoter or club he was being paid. |

come on Mel, you know that PvD is the only act that gets booked on Saturday, since he is actually good and DIVERSE enough of a dj to bring people out to the bar. not the water loving trance kids. Its strictly about the bottom line, contrary to the popular belief that no one likes trance anymore, cause they do, but most of them don't go out and spend money besides the cover.
although this deal is not 100% and there may be some issues. I will do some recon this weekend about this.
but if it does happen you will get PvD, Sander, Deep Dish, Roger Sanchez on the regular and only there. As well as whatever one off parties that cane be done successfully, and by that i mean so there is a profit made from the nite. even Sasha last year at Space didn't clear the costs, so no more of that. |

Wich Club??? Pacha???
I'm friends with Boris's mgr he def is not gettin that much. he turned down Crobar on TGE for a 30k nite at Pacha on TGE and thats one of the biggest nite of the year and honestly Pacha didn't that well that nite. So again Boris is not making 40k.
Boris isn't even making 40K when he plays Surf Club or Deko
Calderone is no way making 50k a nite.
JP's pay is goin down as well. He isn't making what he used. |

But i was excited because 3 times before that when i've seen him they were all on Fridays!!! |

exactly what i was thinking
i know dt makes around 40 a night
when he spins at big clubs and hes very very picky
thats why he was at spirit one month,the next crobar,the next pacha
its not just about the most money to him he goes beyond that
and jp might make 50k a night for a big night like classics/halloween/nye
but for his aug party some bull dvd party theres no way hes makeing 50k
if he is pacha managment is dumb |

I don't know where people are getting these crazy pay day numbers from...
I know Boris, for example, is repped by a kid on nightclubcity, not like some high powered agency.
there is no way guys like JP, Boris, or any of these NYC guys are getting upwards of $50 grand a night. Tiesto doesn't make that much when he is here.
Think about it...all those djs have more afterhours-oriented crowds, so it would make no sense for Pacha to book them @ $50 grand a night and lose all of the money they would normally make at the bar for their normal nights. |
