The things they do over there are just plain retarded (at least from our point of view). Like the Muslims that have to cover every portion of skin.
The other day I saw this Muslim woman that wanted to get her body fat percentage measured but she didn't want to pull up her sleeve or lift up her shirt so they could grab her belly fat. What a freaking waste of peoples' time. |

Claim does not follow from evidence, as evidence (if accepted) merely establishes religion as a necessary condition for clitoral mutilation, and not necessarily as sufficient, which is what your claim requires. To establish the sufficiency of religion for clitoral mutilation, you would have to show that every religious person practices clitoral mutilation, which is clearly false.
So your claim is false (that religion is the only reason for clitoral mutilation). Lira is merely saying that there must exist other necessary conditions (apart from religion) for clitoral mutilation to occur. I suspect he has cultural reasons in mind as well, although I won't pretend to speak on his behalf. Moving on. |
