I'm sorry, but in my experience as a nurse, I've seen more problems with uncircumcised penises, than those that are. In fact I've never seen any of the same problems happen to men with circumcised penises that happen to those that aren't. So yeah, it DOES have health benefits. Keep deluding yourself into thinking it doesn't though, lol. |
Could that have anything to do with improper hygienic practices? Sure, you're going to have more problems with a moist, warm area if it isn't cleaned properly.
However, if it is cleaned properly, what are the odds of a circumcised penis being less susceptible to disease/problems than a non-circumcised one?
I wonder if, stats prove the claim, could it have anything do with the fact that women, being the primary child rearer for centuries, do not have enough knowledge themselves on how to teach their boys proper hygiene when it comes to the foreskin?
I would like to see some stats that compare disease and infection between the two. I think it would be interesting. |

and thats not common |
Actually, in older men, it's not that uncommon at all. I've seen this quite a few times in my short career so far. |

| It has plenty of health benefits for men who don't clean their genitals. |

Yes sorry, I should clarify that I'm talking about men who can no longer do their own personal care.
So while it may not seem worth it to you now, what's gonna happen when you're 80 some odd years old and can no longer perform the simple task of washing yourself?
Better have a good nurse! |

Yea that's actually a pretty ing major detail.
Hopefully in 65+ years they'll have a foreskin washer |

Anyway, the topic:
The root of the problem is sexual jealousy,* which is often propped up by religious ideals (exclusivity of affection, prizing of virginity, and "one man one woman" stuff seen in various scriptures) but has evolutionary roots that go back even further.
* Including the jealousy of a man toward those men who previously enjoyed his non-virgin partner. |

Ok, with this in mind, do you think it is fair that baby boys are being circumcised, and being robbed of an important part of their body that helps them enjoy their sexuality throughout their youth?
Personally, I think that it should be left alone, and when they are older, their doctor should advise them that in their old age, it may/will become a problem. Let them decide if they want to deal with the health issues or not.
As for female mutilation... there is no health benefit to that, it is purely for the purpose of ruining a womans sexuality (as if we didn't have the tier end of the stick in the first place).
Meh, with the misogynistic cultures that exist, this kind of thing doesn't really shock me. |

I'd like to see the studies that back up the claim that the foreskin enhances sexual pleasure. I'm pretty sure this is debatable. |

If you can't take a couple seconds in the shower to keep your dick clean, you almost deserve to lose it.
When I'm decrepit enough that I can't clean my own dick, they can just shoot me on the spot, no point in being alive at that point anyway. |

| Welp, whether it does or doesn't...it's got nowhere NEAR the same function in sexual pleasure as the clitoris does. Men still have feeling and can have orgasms when they're circumcised. Taking away a woman's clitoris is the equivalent of taking away a man's whole penis. |
