^^hahah I didnt even MAKE it to the fraggle rock, I was dancing so much!! I got on the floor just after we got there (11ish?) and only left to grab a drink or fix myself in the bathroom (holy moly dancing hard for 6 hours is a workout!!) I LOVED that the whole place was filled with people we all knew and were comfortable with. And the door was great at not getting it toooo crowded :) nice job on that end!! :)
Suuuuuch a great time, I hope we do it again!! I had to peace out QUICK after 5 tho, because the drinks and the dancing made me ***ACHE*** for my pillows harder than ever!!! Wow, I was DONE. (Which is a good sign of a great night!!)
All the DJ's were off the chain. I LOVED steve and hope he comes back, sorry I was too pooped to hang out after with my peoples :( NO favorite for the night, everyone was on point :)
*Side note to Hai Lee: haha I was right: do you know how many people came up to me last night and said: "Kel you are so right, Hai Lee's smile is the cutest thing EVER!!!!" :haha: :haha: haha I win. |

wow what a crazy Friday night, i have NOT had so much fun in AGES!!!~ after PVD, Joey drove us back to Queens (thank god or else we would have had to train it back), and after a change into clean clothes and shower, we immediately headed out to LOVE
man sooo did *NOT* disappoint...Steve was great and it was obvious he had fun up there on the decks (I never even knew Thrillseekers threw down so hard); the locals (both the main room and the CAVE) rocked it even HARDER~ I just could NOT stop dancing all night (def got my st0mp back after last night hehe). At one point Hai Lee was throwing down bpms that were just UNREAL. Not to mention it was great seeing soo many ppl at LOVE; the vibe was insane and it totally seemed like old times, ran into soo many ppl i never expected to see, incredible.
cant even begin to name the fave tracks of the night, it was just fantastic.
my girls from Boston were definitely impressed with the night -- this had been a last minute decision for them to come down cuz one of the bday girls wanted to hear Steve (otherwise they've been out of the scene for years), but they def agreed that the Locals were phemonenal. I have NOT seen my godsis Kat st0mp the way she has since our earlier Roxy/Guv/Aria days back in 2003, and it was great fun to be able to dance with her again, brought back some killer memories. lol I know she definitley took a *liking* to Zack though, he was the only dj besides Steve who she asked me to get pictures of :tongue2 hahah i found that interesting :)

| Personally, I thought the sound system wasn't bad. I have heard much much worse, and loud is a good thing for me at least. |

sound system at love is phenomenal. this is coming from someone who is an audiophile. you must get your ears checked if you cannot hear it.
as for the night.. i had a great time minus a couple skips of the records. haven't used vinyl in so long i forgot they needed cleaning before use. great to see so many people out.

LOL, I was pretty wrecked last night, but my ears were still working, and I heard nothing but awesomeness all around, and some tracks I haven't heard in aaages! I expect download links on my desk by noon tomorrow. :mad: |

+1 bro, hands down the BEST system in nyc...my ears NEVER ring the next day, which says a lot ;)
I seriousy have not danced like that since roxy in '02/'03. Locals all destroyed it, Tom C was INSANE, and Steve was flawless and a class act to boot. Hopefully this night helped dispell any concern that Love cant handle a huge night, because this surely was, and we surely did. |

I really enjoyed steves set...He played some goodies. I was rockin the ear plugs so I couldnt make a fair judgement about the sound although it seemed powerful as fawk!

I gotta disagree with you there. I think Pacha has a much better sounding system. My ears were ringing too, which is a good thing and I haven't experienced since I was still going to raves 7 years ago. No complaints out of me though, as sound system was fine, but best in NYC is a bold statement. |

I had a great time :) I was all over the place it seems. It was a great reunion. I saw so many people I have not seen in quite a while and met some new people for the first time too :) Nice meeting Dani finally haha and Frequency Mike. I am sure I met some others but I was pretty wasted :p The sound was thumping...just the way I like it :tongue2 Lots of great tunes were played. Hope someone starts up a tracklist ;) There were very "interesting" occurances that night to say the least. The vibe was great. I had some great conversations.
Left sometime in the morning then hung out at Wai's for a bit. Got home at 830 stayed awake till 3pm then finally crashed.
