i def had a blast, no doubt about it. but i just gotta say, i was expecting classics, not neo-classics from 2002-2003.. ie, i was down to hear more stuff from 1998-2000, aka the golden era of trance. maybe next time. :) |
yeah i hear ya.. it was an inner struggle when choosing tracks... i have a lot of stuff from the golden era, binary finary 98 PVD mix, tilt - i dream / invisible... cafe del mar...
but i had a lot of bangers that i wanted to play from 02... late night we did play a few of those old tracks though.. i think zack grabbed my three n one mix of cafe del mar at the end... |

one of my fav times at love ~! had a blast holding down the cave along with keryn & teddy, they played awesome, keryn is officially my fav female DJ, sick track selection, mixing and awesome overall flow. teddy hasnt played in a while but he repped it like hes never had a hiatus, also was fun layin down some TS2 action :D glad to see some faces enjoyin and dancin to my , my goal was to have complete opposite sounds from the main room so ppl will experience the best of both worlds and i think weve accomplish that. good lookin out the Core crew as always, really cant wait for the next one.
and oh zack, put me down for the next trance classics night, im def. on board for that one... for old time sakes and i think i owe it to the ppl to lay down some trancers from the golden era.

Yep, $10, $15, maybe $20 sometimes; not the $40, $50, and beyond for the likes of Tiesto or PVD (and now Armin). I personally don't have much fun anymore in the bigger venues, than in the smaller ones like Love. Like people have already said, its great that Love can handle
a big headliner like Steve and loads of classic/uplifting trance.
I have grown accustomed to tech and prog trance and house, but wanted something new for change: a smaller venue playing the likes of Gouryella and Ascention. Finally got to see Steve spin, something I had not been able to do. Some highlights for the night include:
"Silence", "Beautiful", "Sky Falls Down". So nice to have finally dealt with trance without the big club sardine can syndrome and your often vibe-lacking, big club rudeness. |

i really dug the SSU crew. they were playing some sweet as tunes in the cave.
Molly it was a pleasure as always. erica and ferian i was great to meet you. everyone else i met it was great meeting you. sorry i'm horrible with names. :p |

Words can't describe how ing happy I am that I decided to goto this, I really can't remember a time that I've heard so much great music in the same night...It just kept coming track after track of ing maddness and I danced my face off and the vibe was insane - I will def NEVER forget this party.
