He has a point though - Armin really hasn't done much but cash in on the easy money for quite a few years now.
I'm not saying there is inherently anything wrong with that, but I think it's hard to deny. |

maybe it isn't you opinion, but this is how I think of this release: totally pointless.
He has broadcasted a couple of his sets from Ibiza in his ASOT's, so what's the added value of this release??? Hardly anything imo!!! That's what I'm trying to say and that's what it makes a quick cash grab. |

Then what is the point of any artist in any musical genre doing the same thing? It holds more "value" to an individual who buys it then to someone who just downloads the thing I think. It comes with a nice fancy cover, a booklet, etc. I'm not disagreeing with you entirely but it just seems like you are totally dismissing the release altogether just because he is making money from it. I mean the guy chose to make a living off of music and now he is baing bashed for it? |

| I think we're dismissing it because it's really no different than the countless MOS compilations put out in a given year: completely unwarranted, based entirely on its own merits, regardless of how much money is made or lost on it. |

It still is a cheap move: 70% of it is filled with armada and most of the tunes are already known for ages.
At least put on some quality promo stuff when you release a mixalbum. |
