go listen to his tracks....mostly crazy epic tracks, thats not hard...

I guess we have different ways of listening to tracks then...
Because when I listen to Control Freak (Svd remix), By Any Demand, Grasshopper, Grass-hopper, Pumpkin, S.O.S (Svd remix) and so on and compare them to Sean Tyas tracks such as:
Drop, Lift, Punk'd (Sean Tyas remix which is a svd song no less), Diary of Jane (Tyas rework), Skywalker (!!!) and so on I really find Tyas' tracks to be MUCH harder hitting than svd's tracks.
Granted Tyas' has some really fluffy productions as well but most of his songs have incredible hard kicks and bass that could probably supply you with a full 2-day migraine :) |

Its not having different tastes, if you like Tyas its all good, but Tyas is not considered hard trance by any means, just because in some songs he uses harder basslines doesnt mean he's hard trance...
all the songs i heard from him all sound the same and their all Epic, as in crazy uplifting....realllllly chesse, thats my opinion
You want to listen to hard trance go listen to a Marcel Woods set, then discuss the difference |

sean tyas is a good producer and all(more remixer imo), but he is not a hard trance producer, not even close |

I was just stating way back in my first post that his productions are "HARDER" than most of the dreamy synth trance productions that the majority of the trance crowd is used to and why he might gain notoriety in this crowd because of his harder productions.
That is all.
Hard Trance would be best used to describe the likes of Yoji Biomehanika in my opinion. |
