Wow. Why do so many of you guys keep mentioning the 'hot girl' factor? That's pretty annoying...what happened to going out to clubs to, I don't know, listen to music? Remember that music thing? I do, it's fun. |
Bas, didn't you know that all of those HOT GIRLS are there to have sex with YOU. GET THEM WHILE THEY ARE YOUNG AND TIGHT!!! |

Armin Van Buuren played pdiddy's "lets get up and lets get ill" live at GG or Creamfields.. one of those two.. with Judge Jules on Radio1 way back in 2003.
I don't know why I remember that ..... |

no that was Deep Dish. but P Diddy did dance tracks with Morillo (Dance I said) and Timo Maas and Darren Emerson among others. most have trickeled out here and there over the years but the full album was never released. |

i actually liked most of the tracks i heard!
at least Diddy was giving it a shot and actually goes to Ibiza and the WMC...and his most recent album def had more of a dance flavor to it than your typical rap/hip hop album |

In honesty, most of these promoters that Omer listed promote to a medium-level crowd. Not ghetto and not stuck-up hollywood-ish. I've been to parties promoted by all of these promoters, you will hardly notice a difference (ESPECIALLY in comparison to Vanguard on Saturdays.. Now comparing it to Avalon and Circus is a totally different subject). I've been to clubs that had ghetto ass people.. And I've also been to those "hard to get into" clubs.. These promoters don't really have either of those types of crowds. I went to Vanguard on a Friday (thanks Mikey!) (hip in the main room and house on the patio) and I seriously didn't see much of a difference in the crowd. I've also been to Element on a Friday (they have a small area for house in the back) and they are actually open till 3AM which was nice.
You guys really need to stop complaining, all I hear on the TA forums is it being about the music.. If that is truly what you mean.. Then who gives a shiet about who's playing in the VIP room upstairs if you are mostly there for the "main headliner" anyways?? |

| Just another reason to stop going to big clubs and start hitting smaller spots more often. |

It is about the music, good music. On what planet is mashups teamed with hip hop and r&b good? Gross imo. I'm not always there for the headliner either, and the lounge was always a great spot to catch friends spinning :(
Also, who cares about the crowd...people are people, you're gonna get jerks regardless of the music. A lot of you guys complain about the crowd without hip hop enough as it is anyway :stongue: |
