Review: CIRCA Grand Opening

Where do I begin? Circa is unreal, the venue is absolutely out of this world retarded, like NOTHING you've ever seen in Toronto before, hell not even Las Vegas. It's just THAT big. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but I don't care who you are, you have to see it before you judge it. The place lived up to the hype, actually for once, (in my opinion) it outlived the hype.

As far as the evening went, saw some celebs out front of the place, Mena Suvari (however you spell her name) doing interviews. Lennox Lewis came near the booth area for drinks, should have seen the entourage and security with him. The guy DJ'ing when we got in, not so good. Tunes weren't anything special, I didn't go expecting anything, but at least beat match! He tried but I can count numerous times where I was cringing while he was mixing. Then Junior Sanchez was on, haha, party tunes!! The evening wasn't meant to be a clubbing night, I knew that, and the place was a BLAST! I don't normally go on about any place, all I can say is hold your judgment until you go, see it for yourself. Wehther it's for you or not is another question, but nobody will be able to deny, this place is insane.

thanks to the City crew.

if the tunes suck then it doesn't matter how great the club looks.

That's ridiculous! Good friends make for a good night out no matter what the music. Add to that a brand new mega club to explore and I wish I had gone!

yes....friends are the one thing that can make any night out.....but I could care less if the club looks absolutely amazing if I can't enjoy the music.....the novelty of what the club looks like will wear off quickly.

Jibberish. Music > Friends. Too many friends, leads to too much chitter chatter. F*ck I hate chitter chatter.
