They most certainly are, but the recordings of them are not public domain.

Yeh that's a decent song... i like modern classical (with a 4/4 beat lol)

Heh. A lot of modern classical stuff is actually pretty crazy. Here's part of a pretty modern piece:

Milhaud - Second Sonato for Viola and Piano (third movement)

I love stuff like this, but a lot of people find the dissonance really offputting. :clown:
