Kinda wish I went now. Seriously.
That said, I had an absolutely had a perfect day today thanksgiving day with friends and turkey and dinner today, which could not have happened as perfectly unless I had stayed home last night, so i dont regret it.
but if i had gone, WOW what I nigh i would have had in store. completely different that i was figuring. sounds like the exact OPPOSITE of labour of love. seriously. |

that was pure and simply a musical education in techno handed out by Carl. I'm not sure why the few people i spoke to afterwords thought he started mellow. I think by track 3 he was well into an extremely DESTRUCTIVE mood.
I am still in complete awe. Ferry was playing brilliantly but when i went back to the koolhaus i just could not get the king of clubs out of my head.
Hands down my fav set of the year. |

also yes i found the mainroom to be rammed during the first 2 hours of carls set..but it was fine otherwise.
I actually enjoyed being in the middle of that mess cuz it just added to the atmosphere. The trick was to find the rhythm of the crowd and then move to that rhythm :) :) :). Maybe it was just me??.. For the first time in probably a year or two i can actually say i enjoyed that sardine fest.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone on here but Ferry loves Canada, and in his most recent interview (2006) he picked Guv to be his top club of choice if he had only one more day to live and had to pick a venue where he would throw his last party. |

OMG finally back in the states. Last night was one of the best nights everrr. I got to Guv around 11 and immediatly went to the orange room for Deadmau5 which was amazzzing. Got to meet a bunch of TAs and found AJ who was my partner in crime almost all night. I wasnt feeling Cox, so we were only in there for a little while.. Ferry was ripping up alllll night. His set was ing amazzinggg. I spent most of my night in there, and on the patio haha. That was an adventure.. It was a good night to be running around :)
After that we hit the zone till like 2.. that was insane. My first time there and it was perfect! Deko-ze ripped up he was byfar the best of the morning. And the bartender and i are in love so free gatorades made my day haha. Did anyone see the bouncers wreck that guy? it was nasty.. eek
