What I'm asking you, is how you can consider this belief system to be in any way scientific, because you appear to have qualified it as such, in your previous posts?

I have no problem with your beliefs, but when people start telling me that it's a SCIENCE (again, empirical evidence/statistical analysis would be required for this kind of bold statement to hold any weight), it just doesn't work for me.

It seems like pure faith, and no more realistic (IMO) than an omni-present being watching over us, after creating us all on a whim.

I am not an astrologer and sadly the bhrigu manuscript that contained millions of horoscopes were destroyed by a freakin ruler ages back. What ever is left is subdivided between 2 brothers who live in different parts of India. Since we don't have the knowledge to re-create such a manuscript it can not be proved scientifically.
Statistically if you can find a matching horoscope at bhrigu you'd be amazed how accurate the prediction is. Why I say it's a science is because it was based off the planetary position, surely a science that was well advance than our science.

I am trying to re-iterate the fact that there seems to be some kind of knowledge existent ages back with not just hindus but also egyptians and prolly mayans, that could tell human behavior and could quite correctly predict future from the planetary position when you were born.

You'd find many articles on the web that can tell you how good bhrigu samitha is (not just from Indians but also foreigners) who had a chance to give it a shot.

How much does it cost? Got a number to call?

Is he in Utah? Google Maps says Utah.

Read my previous post. It's only in India.

Just because it has maths in it doesn't mean it is science. :haha::haha:

Astrology involve position of planets in terms of degrees, based on your longitude and latitude position at the time of birth, they can tell which planet has higher and lower affect on your body. These planetary position is then used to determine the behavior and can even predict your future. Believe it or not is all upto you

I just read an article where a guy went to Bhrigu Samhita. He wanted (the equivalent to) $3600 US to undo a curse from a former life.

Edit: oh, just realized it's the one you posted.

By the way, Bhrigu Samhita is an anagram for 'Him bash guitar' and 'Ha, Big hair smut'

what a load of nonsense. yeah, the planets dictate our lives! hahahahaha.

honestly, how can someone in the 21st century swallow this ?

i wanna know what special powers the uterus has to protect us from the influence of the planets until we are born.

Ok, I hear what you're saying.

I respect your beliefs, and always will, up until you try to tell me your belief system is a science. That's all I took issue with.

It's entirely realistic that old information was destroyed by a particular ruler. Wouldn't be the first time it's happened, nor the last. I do, however, question the validity of "What ever is left is subdivided between 2 brothers who live in different parts of India."

I mean, how sure are you? How sure are they? What is it based on?

Honest question: What about twins seperated at birth?

You stated that only details of a birth are needed, correct?

no, that sushi.

beliefs dont deserve respect, they ing earn them. the only thing this "earns" is thousands of dollars from unsuspecting arseclowns that dont know any better.

any logical person should denounce this kind of . the more mystical bull we get rid of the more advanced we become as a result. mysticism in all its forms should be purged from the world.

Guys, read this if you have time and if you don't believe it. Either ways it no point discussing if you don't want to believe in.

I have no clue, I have no idea if such a saint even existed. All i know is that if the freakin horoscope matches to your's, the prediction is dead accurate.

Tons of people believe in this and have read their horoscopes via bhrigu samitha and none have complained except when the lousy readers asks for money as part of the last script.

Why don't you google and check out some more.

Two things exist in each of the articles posted:

- the writings were only decipherable by the librarians/astrologers and not the visitors

- payment was necessary to undo the bad karma/curse from the past/past life.
