recorded this a bit ago, it's good, minus one epic trainwreck into contrasts... has an annoying crackle over the audio but if u imagine it as a live set from a club (which it could well be =p) then i've heard worse... hehe

what did you record it with?
i have to use my laptop now instead of our pc, it doesnt sound this bad but its not fantastic. |

Thanks to those who gave feedback to my previous one hour mix, really appreciate it!
Heres another 2 hour mix I spun this sunny afternoon. Now that the ITM DJ contest isnt running, I decided to include some of the tunes I was going to play. Starts off with House-prog, Prog-trance, some crazy vocal tuneage, running into a few tech-monsters, then I keep the trail going with a good 40 minutes of driving uplifting trance, finishing with a great sample!
Im also spinning at Undertone on the 26th, so if you want to hear some trance-tuneage, pm me for g/list.

hehe
recorded it with ableton which was dumb: i need more ram badly, and ableton's a bitch to run, even for a simple task like RECORDING so i think it just treated the incoming sound badly... have since recorded with audacity and that works fine...
think the problem was just comp lag :( |

after realising that i have tastes in the softer stuff which i've never really given full attention to (but continue to buy tunes for in the hope that one day i'll be in the mood to not just bang it out when i have a mix :toothless ), i decided to whip out a set where i:
a) broke the boundries i keep setting for myself in trying to make all my sets less than 80mins so they can fit on a CD in case me or others wanted to download and burn them (seriously, iPods or GTFO)
b) encompassed the proggy trance sound i like (and some of my mates dig) whilst not denying myself the trance and uplifting trance i've always loved and,
c) capped the end off with my favour flavour of ANY month: techtrance by actually closing a set with it instead of sticking it predictably somewhere in the middle AND whipping out some anthematic end-of-set goodness while i'm at it!
..so, without further ado... :D
