nothing better for you, you mean
majority of people out there dont give a fk, doesnt make them dips
you're world is not everyones world
i'll use this extreme example to see if i can make my point, i love desyn but if he went to sensation black and played house and bored everyone id call him a twat, coz as much as he loves it, if he cant get a crowd going no one would give a
it's all about track selection |
:stongue: yeh i know, that was just MY OPINION ;) haha
oh totally agree when you say majority of people dont give a fark....they most likely dont even care about the music anyways like some of us do.
oath its all about track selection, to ME especially thats the most important thing, but then again you dont want to go out & hear a dj that cant even mix for & who looks like he's gunna piss his pants & cry, but hey thats just my opinion. lol
Dave, dont get so defensive, that comment was a general one!
| quote: | | then again how far can a dj really move. besides strangis i wonder if anyone will really make it |
You may have just broken some hearts there Davey boy, but really you never know what can happen!
just sounds to me like some are sounding like 'know it all experts'.

what if only one person in a country wanted to get somewhere
like from ethiopia
then technically, every dj from ethiopia has gotten somewhere
im just being random coz work sucks |

| You're not going to "make it" anywhere unless you produce good tracks also imo. |

i think its a pretty weird assumption that everyone wants to "make it". i loved playing soccer for most of my teen years and i had no intention of pulling on a liverpool jersey. sure, DJing for a living would be way better than what im doing currently, but ed if i could be bothered with all the hard work that would take.
the odd gig every now and then is good enough for me :) |

on the whole i agree - there are always anomalies - eg grant smilie had kinda made it before tv rock, kid kenobi, james zabiela, j00f, desyn masiello, eddie halliwell - heck even nick fish 'made it' to a degree with fark all under their beltz - but yeah on the whole u gotta be churning out quality tunes i guess.
whats making it anyway lol? just do what ya like and if people like it then kool, if not, meh at least its fun. |
