the last month i've gone through a few things... some have been good, some have been bad.. and all of them were pretty exhausting. so i inadvertently found myself on a bit of a hiatus from trance, from partying, mixing, etc. and during that time i was taking to deal with things and reflect, i found that i felt like a little piece of me was missing... the music side :)
so in light of the three or so weeks i've taken off from trance and being behind the decks, i've felt i've reset a little and thought i would kick back into what i love! :p

been buying up big on beatport lately and getting back into the swing of weekly mixing so i thought i'd test out my newest cartload of tuneage plus some of the new tunes i nabbed last weekend that i didnt put into my last mix.. :p
starts somewhat chilled out trance, some nice melodic proggy stuff, some chunky beatz.. then ramps up into some mainroom booming techy sounds before working its way straight into uplifting, occasionally veering off to touch on a techy, banging number then straight back again, finally capping off with some melodic uplifting :happy2:
yet again, i got tired of tailoring a mix to suit the length of a CD so i made this one two hours :) putting this mix together over the long weekend, i thought why not name it as such and make it longer to suit :)

for funsies, dan wood and i jumped on the decks together yesterday and showcased wicked tunes to each other... whilst recording it and what resulted was a 3hr trancey mix of supermegahappyfun.
aptly titled "Pants Party" (as we were both wearing pants at the time), this one rips through all kindsa trance from chunky funky stuff, more mellow melodic stuff to some more banging pants-party style uplifting shizz..
