Lived there for half a year. Really is such an amazing place, very welcoming. Never gets too hot or humid, no mosquitos.
I'd love to live in Tokyo though. |
I wanna move to Hilo with the rest of my family. Im getting sick of the hustle and bustle. |

| quote: | | SYDNEY. The perpetual blue sky, the harbour, the stunning beaches, the bushland humming with wildlife... Sydney's natural beauty is relentless. The city bewitches its citizens, who react by prancing to the beach with a cappuccino or lounging in a café with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in hand. Sydney is showing off. Again. |
They do?
The harbour, north shore and northern beaches are a nice place, if you don't mind it being infested with the pseudo-rich, yuppies and privileged wastrels of society.
And it's nice to look at... for a price $$$
Aside from that the CBD is grotty, public transport is poo to non-existent (lol they bought a monorail :p), roads are crap and most of the taxes get syphoned off to other capital cities. Suburbs are sprawling and dull, much like the US.
Alls said and done, if you can make it in Sydney, you can make it anywhere as far as work and money goes. |
