Not for most food, but you are for serving reindeer :p
It tasted so weird there, like it was the part of the livre. Not gonna try that anytime soon :nervous: |

Have these guys ever actually been here? Because this is what this place really looks like:

+111..
I don't live in Helsinki, but I've visited there a few times and haven't been impressed at all. Visited Esplanadi park once, noticed three drunk guys sleeping in there and some hospital people were trying to get one up from a bench, while some asian guy filmed it with a video camera.
I see drunk people here in Pieksämäki too, but it's understandable too that there's more people drunk and asleep in a way bigger city.
It's kind of a fun place, but I wouldn't live there, at least not very close to the center of the city. |

It was the only part I remember from Mad Max, some funny blonde boy who gets hit in the head with a boomerang that didn't have proper pants with a bottom :nervous:
the scars will heal one day... |
Actually the blonde guy was wearing regular pants, his 'master' (or whatever) was the one with assless chaps :stongue: |

I don't know how to explain it right.. I just like it better in a smaller city in overall, the only problem here is that it's ing BORING, nothing ever happens. And all the places I have visited in Helsinki are in around the center parts of the city.
I'd want to visit some big cities like Tokyo where I'd probably go crazy, but it would be great place to visit. I'd reconsider living in a bigger city if it would be some other bigger city in Finland or some other country, but Hellsinki just has something in it that pushes me away from there :( |

I was thinking about Ajax, Sensation White/Black, Dance Valley, Mysteryland, Amsterdam Dance Event, Anne Frank Huis, Escher museum, Rijksmuseum... taking a bike tour, exploring the city, pictures, sight-seeing, music... and other fun activities.
What did you have in mind? ;) |
Just what I was thinking you'd mention. Except for the music, those are all appealing to tourists (and yes, that does include Ajax as of late). Did it even occur to you that things like that get old really quickly when you actually live there for a while, leaving nothing more than an overpriced, overcrowded and severely overrated city?
Maybe I'm getting old though. |

yeah, its a road and some houses :D
i guess i was being a bit harsh... it's probably more like:
melbourne > brisbane > adelaide > perth > sydney > darwin > canberra > hobart
i think i'd go insane living in canberra. |
im the kind of person that people > cities.
if you can't have fun in a city surrounded by friends then its not the city's fault ;)
that said, i hated living in canberra :toothless
but there's no way sydney is in the top 10 "liveable" world cities. what a crock. |
