We are not talking about cooking 'nice' meals, we are talking bout surviving on the margin. The entire discussion was brought up because I was trying to convince people that cooking at home, for the poor, is more economical than fast food.

Errr... hate to say it, but I think you're the only one who's talking about that.

Well then how about you do something useful and become a personal trainer or something, instead of bitching that somebody else should solve the problem. In any case, it's really none of your concern what other people eat. It doesn't affect you either way, so you have absolutely no business meddling in their affairs.

No, to everyone, and that's precisely the point. You don't collectively punish everyone because a small group of people did something wrong (which in this case, isn't even really "wrong", it's just something you happen to dislike). At least, you don't do this if you have any sense of leadership or understanding of social dynamics.

I wonder how ridiculous I would have had to make my post for you to realize I was being facetious.

Plus, I think it will make fast food more competitively priced with restaurants that actually serve healthy food.

Totally agree. I hate this ridiculous idea of paying more if you wanna eat healthy. What a crock of marketing .

By comparison, I never exercise, spend 90% of my time sitting in front of a computer or at my desk, go clubbing from time to time, don't watch what I eat at all, and i'm not gaining any weight. Metabolism is a bitch.
