I'm hoping he doesn't close and the Chems do. that way I don't have to stick around to the end and I can catch Shultz who will hopefully close the side stage :) |

nah, seen him once and that was at the single best arena event in my clubbing/raving life - gods 06 :D so that was a trance event so he played trance.. FMF is a festival that incorporates a much wider range of music so because halliwell plays both electrohouse and trance, he could go either way...
..like a bisexual..
..but given he's playing mainstage, he suits NO other time that close or just before Chem Bros closing which wont suit electrohouse so i think it's safe to say he'll be trancing the shiet outta us.
and i couldn't be happier :D

i wouldn't take his radio show as any kinda indication of how he plays live man - his radio show is more of a showcase of different tunes instead of a properly constructed set...
..that and he tears the ing place into shreads live - doesn't work as well over radio :p
i distinctly remember seeing a video of him mashing two techtrance monster tunes over the top of each other, people going bezerk, the buildup peaked and peaked and peaked then he looped them for a bit, dropped the volume and screamed (in his wicked little british almost jockey voice) at the crowd "DO YOU ING C**TS WANT IT?!!??!?" before BANG.. the tune broke and the place exploded with awesome. :D :D

Couldn't agree more...he seriously rocked the place that night....highlight was him crowd surfing towards the end of his set :D |
