Shes lucky. Often the punishment for getting raped is stoning.

Yes hardcore Islamic law is a joke.

hardcore islamic countries are ing retarded. another reason why religion is bull and primitive. the punishment for rape should be death or life in jail.

If they want rights, then they'll fight for it. Until then, Saudis have no excuse for when they are oppressed...:(

Are you guys assuming the word "fight" means a violent revolution?

There are many ways to fight for human rights. And rights have ALWAYS been fought for, politically AND sometimes violently..

tell me how a woman is meant to fight for anything in a system that treats her like a piece of property?

Speaking from an American history perspective, women weren't allowed to vote until 1920. The same way they fought for their rights back then, that's how they would do it. Demonstrate and protest.

I really don't know what you're trying to argue here. My only point was they will never have the rights we enjoy here in the west until they fight for it, SOMEHOW. I think you're just arguing this for the sake of arguing. When has a government ever freely and without obligation given its citizens rights, out of the kindness of their hearts? NEVER.
