awesome night
got to watch the last hour or so of his set from behind him and see how he was consistantly looping, effecting and working tracks. Amazing.
Closing out with his Sweetdreams/Genesis edit and rolling that into Muryani (which i feel like no one would know yet it got the largest reaction :) and finally his remix of Williams Departure...
Jurel--I spin wednesdays at Deko, stop by sometime :)

And a Huuuuuge thanx to Frequency Mike for hooking me up w/guest list. U rock dude, sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you. I did see you spin, but I didn't wanna bother you while you were mixing. I then popped upstairs and by the time I came back you were not around. Again, thank you for the hook up!
I came at around 1230 and had no probs w guest list. Sorry some of you had probs.
Btw i dont agree about pacha sound system - it sucked. Too boomy and my ears were bleeding! Today, i feel lile i got perm ear damage. :mad: |

Thankfully it reappeared at 1130, but I just want to publically apologize for anyone affected by that. We sent all names in at 7pm, but apparently there was some sort of mix-up within the club, and they didn't have it. I ran around for a half hour and was finally able to find the right person and rectify the situation. I sincerely hope that noone's night was ruined by this sorta thing, because I've definitely been on the other side.
We at Core take great pride in any event in which we participate, so we took the problem to heart, and hope you guys won't hold it against us. If you WERE affected, please email me and I'll see what we can do to help you out at a future party. |

No need to issue an apology.... People who've gone to Made parties should know it's no fault but Made's own that any problems at the door arise.... They "didn't get" the guestlist, because they didn't want to honor reduced admission, and surely didn't want to honor comps... I got there at 10:45, asked for the Mike Swells list, she says "Okay and what's your name?"... Give her my name, she looks at a piece of paper from like 10 feet away for about half a second and says "it's not on here.... $30".... Went to get something to eat and came back later..
Came back at around 12:45, did the guestlist thing again, only to find out my comp is reduced ($5 off) and my +1 is inexistent (full price)... No fault of yours, they get directions from the uppers and/or the guestlist compiled are edited so the math works their way... |

Stories like this make me wanna move into Stevens place in Rhode Island and make a club out of his backyard near the lake. LOL. :p |

For the record... we at Core did submit a huge list to Pacha. We have no idea what happened a lot of people came in complaining that there was no list. Frank ran outside about a million times and finally got it straightened out around 12:30...
we just want to apologize to anyone who may have had a problem. It was out of our hands at that point. sorry again....:( |
