who was charging $10 to get upstairs?
you arent allowed upstairs before 2-3am (when there is a gate at the bottom of the stairs with two bouncers) unless you have a stamp. in order to obtain a stamp you need to enter the complex from the drink.
when they remove the gate then anyone can get upstairs.

pretty much every spin saturday event i've been to, i have seen friends and others paying the bouncer at the bottom of the stairs $10 to get a stamp and go up to the drink

yeayea with out a doubt....but me thinks there not allowed too do it....but of course they do it anyways to make some extra cash on the side....like how u can gresse the bouncers @ the door to cut the line....
but the best thing to do when goin to Guvy is juss to always enter thru The Drink/D'Lux entrances.....juss make sure u got dress shoes....

DJs are allowed to play some of their old signature tunes -- as long as there is enough variety in the rest of their set I think it is ok. Further, especially since Dave hasn't been here in a long time it makes all the more legitimate to play some old bangers.

Agree 400% w the Swampster. I'd add to 'enough variety in the rest of their set' without a load of vocal cheese. Spaced throughout it can be ok.

wth is wrong with just having an opinion on the fact that Dj's need to put some tunes to sleep, and stop relying on "signature" tunes every time they have a gig, generally speaking?
it's one thing to go into the Prodigy concert and hear their gold oldies, but it's completely another when the Dj's just rehash their EM tune selection over and over again... even Armin brings fresh tunes every time he's in town

btw, that double CD were excellent! I accidentally stumbled upon them in one of the drawers at work, and the track selection is just unreal

The tracks I was talking about were:

Tranquility Base - Getting Away

here's the MAIN reason I'd wanted to have gone, to have heard this song again in a club, and performed by them. God that would have been a blissful wonderful 4-5 minutes :)

Here is the video of the horn being WAY over used. Ignore me yelling that I got it on video. I honestly thought they were going to stop but they didn't so I kept on filming.

Anyways,

Enjoy,

^^ lol, I'm a big fan of the Guv horn when use properly (ie. very rarely), but that should never, ever be done with that horn.
