Add Atonement to my list. I loved it!
Saw Lars and the Real Girl a couple weeks ago and that was awesome.
Also we're going to see:
The Savages
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
The Orphanage
Cassandra's Dream |

i was about to see Atonement today, but decided to watch Before the Devil knows You're dead, because i figured i can catch Atonement anytime. i enjoyed BTDKYD. it's one of those movies where it's a whole character development piece, and you get to learn who that person is, rather than watch a story plot, even though the main climax happened 10 minutes into the movie. lol
i do play to watch:
Atonement
Juno
Sweeney Todd
before 2007 ends. :)
it's movie week for me. stuff all these movies before i go back to work on Jan 2. :( |

i saw the preview of The Orphanage. it looks like the prototypical horror flic that's being stuffed down our throats. however, it does look interesting. i may watch that in 2008. |

such a letdown compared to Frank Miller's other works.

I will probably get the Blu-ray for Sunshine.
But the ending of the movie with the religious/spiritual cop-out completely ruined the movie for me.

| The only reason why i am not naming Transformers as the worst, because there have been other "very bad" comic book / cartoon turned movies out there. such as : Fantastic 4, Elektra, Daredevil, The Punisher, The Hulk, ........... and the list goes on. |

I've seen those too (with the exception of The Punisher), and Transformers was still far, far worse.
In fact, I can only conclude that anyone who enjoyed that movie must have the intellect of an acorn. |
