Transformers was a great movie. Another one I liked was Across The Universe. If you like The Beatles you should definatley check that one out :p |
Oh true. Never saw that but it looked fantastic, I gotta get on that. Also, honestly why did people like transformers that much? Hell, why did people like it at all? |

Hah yeah I will. Here's the summary of a review of transformers that I agree with:
| quote: | | "With Transformers, director Michael Bay has once again claimed the year’s top honors for loud, stupid filmmaking. |
I really wanted it to be good, but Michael Bay just makes awful movies. He's kinda the DJ Sammy of movies. Yeah. |

haha, nice comparison. I think both his and Tony Scott's film-making "style" within the last decade or so are really lacklustre. They get lots of praise and money, but I don't like the prescription. Though I did really like the Rock (Bay?) and I did really like The Hunger (Scott?). They're just sell-outs anymore though. I didn't even see Transformers. It looked like nothing mor than a 90-minute Chevrolet commercial. :/ |

You got that right. Yeah Bay hasn't done anything good since the rock, and the rock was campy and kinda bad, but in a good way. |

Not enough White Album in my opinion. Trippy movie though - the soundtrack was very enjoyable and the Bono cameo was pretty funny. |

I assumed you already had - I can absolutely guarantee that the book will be 100x better than the movie. |
Ive got a couple on my list before I get to that one, I dont think I can read it before the movie comes out. But I dont have to see it right away, either. |

1. The Darjeeling Limited
2. Across the Universe
3. ...(are we counting children of men as 2007?)
^You can't compare movies like those to something like transformers, and then argue that Transformers was anything other than absolute garbage.
DJ Sammy of the movie world indeed... |
