I would like to come back from my solo trip in Thailand in once piece, and without a trip to a thai jail.
Everything else is peripheral, really. |

winning lotto 6/49 ticket (wishful thinking)
a plasma tv (wishful thinking)
a PS3 for said plasma tv and a copy of the latest formula one racing game (wishful thinking)
realistically....i'd be happy with anything. prior to last year, all i ever got was coal and orange peels :wtf: |

For supermarkets and department stores to wait until at least December 1st to start putting up the gaudy holiday decorations and playing the crappy schlock music.
Santa shafted me again this year.
P.S. Who still buys plasma TVs? LCD, man. |

| To finally get a nice, permanent, half-decent job, where I can utilise my skills and education, etc. ...Then I will be able to buy the few small things that I'd like and will not have to worry about having money for food, paying $275 in OSAP debt (for education that seems not to be valued by anybody out there), and other basic things. |

to be honest, i dont need anything material for xmas. i already have pretty much all i want/need. A few clothes maybe.
Maybe books.
What id really like to have is my debt to go away or a nice vacation!! |
That's why I started the thread. I don't really need anything, and I can't think of anything that I really want, other than maybe clothes. My family keeps asking me what to get me, and I have no clue what to tell them. I'd tell them clothes, but I'm really picky and they seem to fail worse and worse every time they try .
I have a feeling the thread is going to be full of "I just want to spend time with friends and family" Which is all fine and dandy, that's my favourite part of Christmas, but I was hoping it would take a more material turn, so people could get some gift ideas. |

I was hoping someone would post something brilliant, but I have a feeling the thread is going to be full of "I just want to spend time with friends and family" Which is all fine and dandy, that's my favourite part of Christmas, but I was hoping it would take a more material turn, so people could get some gift ideas. |
+1
I have no idea either what my family should get me. I always buy anything that I want/need so around xmas time there's nothing I really want lol.
I just bought myself a GPS system last week, so there goes that gift idea... |

I reaaaally enjoyed the spa gift card I got last year
the spa itself was super cosy and relaxing place, but the massage was heavenly
I don't think anyone would dislike such a gift :D |
