Au contraire; first of all, if you're well-off financially, you can probably afford the things you need/want without having to rely on others to deliver them to you as gifts. But more importantly, as I stressed earlier, the major BS factor is that Christmas gifts are supposed to be reciprocated. They're more like trades than actual gifts. Therefore, people who expect to receive a lot of gifts generally have to buy an assload of them, and end up broke, which starts the cycle for next year because they couldn't afford what they wanted because they pissed away all their money paying off the pile of debt they accumulated during the holidays.
And if you don't give reciprocal gifts, then you really are just a greedy . |

I'm sorry, last time I checked when you take a page from a book, and you photo copy it, you are duplicating it, not necessarily taking it, and "repackaging it as your own".

:o you bore me. I'd cut and paste the quote to confront my confusion to each comment I don't understand but I think i have some dishes to do or something somewhere
that said however i simply DON"T believe presents need to be reciprocated to receive validation at all. the last few christmas's I've bought most of my friends gifts and usually didnt' receive anything in return, but in no way does this make them greedy s, if anything the opposite really right? |
