wow sounds terrible. :( glad sander atleast rescued some of the night though. he played amazing at space. but there were a lot of banged up people there too. a mixture of the free drinks till 1am and the pills is my best guess.
i would love to catch sander in holland with an intelligent crowd. we had some shirts custom made that said "SANDER VAN ING DOORN" and the whole night people kept coming up to us asking "what does your shirt mean?" lol, ing jackasses. :p

yeah, agreed. We were there for the DT / Burridge night and it was the most normal crowd ever. I think the crowd on a given night has a lot to do with the style of music being played, promoters etc...
Made Events promotions hit a WIDE group of people...add to it the headliners are well known hard techno / tech trance djs...

Well - seems like everyone's pretty much on the same page about the night... I got there around 10 o'clock because that's when doors opened, according to my $37 ticket. The opening dj/djs (were there two of them - I left my glasses at home so I couldn't tell if it was two or just sound guys up there)were great. It was slow and techy, but they threw down some nice tracks. When Mauro came on I almost fell asleep. Strobe lights were flashing, but honestly, I felt like he was playing the same song over and over again for the first hour. Roughly right around he played Komodo things started to pick up. He played heavy, had a few high moments... but then lost it again. Sander came on and it was time to lose my voice again lol.
Although Sander played almost the same amount of time as he did at Pacha back in Feb... I felt slightly cheated out of my ticket price since I hardly enjoyed Picotto. The Doorn/Sun/Schulz show was much better and I think even cheaper! I felt bad for SVD since the floor was half-packed. Also, I'm surprised those girls weren't hit with ice cubes or something as they made complete fools of themselves on stage... Oh yeah and the balloons were very scary. They were cool at first, but some people were getting too into smacking them through the air - I thought someone was going to ram me down instead of a balloon lol. Highlights for me were Dubfire - I Feel Sound, The Fall - Richard Durand Remix, and Blue Monday! (Which version? It's not philippe b's like you do... and it's not the orgy version... lol??:conf: ).
Can't wait for Sander's new album and to see him again in NYC sometime soon! He needs to come on earlier next time, like 1am :).
I'm sad I missed Simon in town again... but I had a good time at an ugly holiday sweater party... Onto Cosmic Gate & SOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO EUPHONIC NIGHT!!!!!!!
