first off, it was great meetin everyone who i did meet. Rizzo is a rockstar, wish we had more time to chat man, hope you got your flight ok! Gmoney, holy , that man is a walking library and blew my freakin mind with ID after ID, not to mention he's a badass too ;)
my buddy brad who i stayed with and i got to webster right around 2am or so. first time to see that venue, not bad. I got lost tryin to figure out where to freakin go to find the main room though, I ended up in some smaller room where they were playing Shakira and I thought maybe Mauro did a new remix of that track or somethin. The only other weird part was when I went to the bathroom, some dude was standin there takin a leak with his pants at his ankles singing something like the macarena, only in new york....only in new york....haha
brad and I made our way to the main room, very hefty sized room. Lighting was solid, sound filled the room nicely. Only other thing I think they could have used was maybe a few lasers or somethin. I stayed clear of the baloons as I was also expecting some sort of a rugby tackle by someone who wanted it. Grabbed a few drinks and chilled. I'm not really going to comment at all about Mauro's set so I'll just plead the 5th.
I thought sander played great, lots of heavy hittin tunes, i'll have some video's up tomorrow. I think Brad and I were hoping for a bit harder and darker "signature Sander" but still thoroughly enjoyed his set and those who did miss it, missed out big! I love how he always seems to really enjoy himself when he is playing, whether it be in front of 200 or 2000. I got a chance to talk to him and his agent jay briefly and was stoked to hear that he will be making another return to Seattle early next year.
All in all, fun times for sure and can't wait to come back and party again soon!

Cosmic Gate played @ Webster when I first moved up here. The crowd should be more like that as it was for Talla, Blank and Jones, etc..
Trance nights don't pull in half as much as the housier/techno nights do.

Wow I can't believe Mauro banged out the classics... As much as I've always wanted to hear him play those, I'm so surprised, and imagining him mix those classics with what he's been playing lately, I can see how that would sound horrible...
I still have faith in Mauro... I haven't heard one set of his in the past two years that I didn't at least like (not to mention love or bang out)... Something must have been up that night: lost luggage with CD books, or broken laptop, or something... I don't think I've ever heard of a party (globally) where he's played all these classics, that's crazy!!! Sucks to hear that he was bad, but I'll support next time he's back, hopefully not a Made Event..
