"Hate" is a strong word, but talking about how "America is ruining things" when a New York promoter is trying to book the guy (7 months ago when he wasn't famous yet), I can't help but sense the irony... Don't know the guy, could be really nice for all I know, but seven months ago, he was talking about how non-appealing it was to come to the United States... Several hit records and now on a booking agency, just funny to see all the USA dates and a change in attitude.. We all hate Bush and his foreign policy, but if a Russian promoter was trying to book me, I wouldn't talk about how shady Putin is and how ed their economy is still trying to recover from Communism..

Hate to dish out the , not going to post any convos or delve any further, but that's how it goes: previous comments and conversations CAN come back to bite people in the arse...

Either way, it must be said, he's a great producer and the show will be good (especially with James on headlining)... I, for one, will choose for personal reasons not to attend (and because it's Pacha lol)...

what on earth are you going on about? im into music, not so much politics.

at the end of the day, im really enthusiastic /excited about coming to the US to reach out to new audiences and do what i've always felt i was destined to do with my life... outside of that, political standing doesnt have a thing to do with any of that... as far as any kind of previous discussions being omitted for whatever reason, i've never ever let anything in the past come back to bite me in the ass.

either way, i cant recall a single time i've publicly declared America as a "no fly zone". and any publication stating such should be shot down and burried under 12 feet of pete moss for all i care.

I find it pretty funny that you have built a reputation as being a dick. I'd like to think that it really isn't true, but it's something that seems to be very common to hear as of late. What really helps this view is the fact that lately you've seemed to try and defend topics that come up against you. Know what? If it isn't true, then ignore it. At your current status in this business I really can't understand why you'd give 2 s about what people on TranceAddict say about you.

im new at this, give a mau5 a break.

lol... well admittedly, i kinda saw it coming about 6 months ago... and talking with other doods who've "made it" er whatever... i get the consensus that they avoid forums and whatnot simply because of that...

but i dunno, i've been on forums and internet communique type things my entire life, so it's always second nature for me to just jump in and say whats up.... nah, not alot of it really gets to me tho. Generally the thing that keeps my sanity throughout whatever crap surfaces is "hey, its ing music" and thats it really.

im fully aware that not everyone is going to agree with you / like your music, or just slag you for no reason whatsoever... but i've got a nack for depersonalizing myself sometimes, which i guess is an eloquent way of "being a dick"... hell ive got a ton of norm friends who are dicks... but oddly enough i dont read mile long threads about em.

which makesme wonder about the otjher professions... like drs, painters, scientists ... all slaggin eachotheroff on scienceaddict or whatever. which would make for way funnier threads im sure :)

Fair enough, no need on my part to delve further... But, either you were smoking the skitzo weed or one of your friends was on your computer having a conversation with New York promoters, telling them how indifferent you were to getting a booking here... Anyway, no need to beat a dead horse, good luck at Pacha, that place is always packed no matter what (for better or worse)... Either way, no need for to snowball guys, what I did was shoot from the hip based on previous conversations, not make assumptions about the guy..

I'm with you on this Marcello. People love hating on the US until an american wants to give you some money. It's real easy to say after the fact that you love the US or want to expand your audience. BS....you want to use america as an atm, and then on it when you go home back to the red-headed-step-child-called-canada.
