| After hearing about all the hype and all the controversy that surrounds the whole deadmau5 in NYC argument, i must say i am disgusted at the very least by the behavior of both parties in question. I always thought what the EDM community prided itself on was tolerance, respect and an overall interest for the longevity of the scene. Instead i everything i read is one step away from an all out war and unjustifiable hatred. It seems that some members have stooped down to the level of rap and hip hop when it comes to settling grievances and discrepancies. What has happened has happened and there is no changing it regardless of instant messaging conversations or excuses made. Why can't there just be an understanding reached with everyone and why has a problem that two people had be shoved down the throats of all who frequent this forum, it seems most of the people here are just sheep following their shepard blindly. Personally i don't like to have disputes; fun times all around for me and honestly i thought that is what TA was about...aside from the occasional flame war. I am trying to give as much of an unbiased opinion i can so id rather not see myself quoted as arguing for either side. Being viewed by most as the little brother of NYTA i guess my opinions don't count for much but i still hope you guys can take my words into consideration. It would be awesome to see everyone get along but i guess some people are too thick to get that by arguing like this they are only doing a disservice to the community as a whole...a community that they have tried so hard to build up to what it is today. I apologize in advance if i offended anyone, and i ask in advance not to be quoted strictly from context. |
