all this bull american propaganda against putin seems to miss the fact he restored a russian economy that was so far down the ter even african countries were laughing. all you idiots who criticize him obviously have no idea how much better russia is these days and are basically going off what you read from american sources. yes he's a bit manipulative but goddamn social security is actually being paid on time (yes in small amount but it's better than nothing as was the case under yeltsin).

| propaganda...hmmm hitler was accusing the us and england about propaganda too once upon a time. The man eliminates his own people if they speak against him and his country is the biggest pile of corruption in the "free" world. What happens to a journalist that speaks against him Denny...do Russians really want a Czar again? |

i say the same thing. putin is a totally corrupt but the man recreated the economy and spurred development. even if there is just as much corruption as before, the quality of life has improved tremendously. |

putin is a product of his predecessors. has he helped russia, definitely. has he helped the country as much as he could no. a number of russians aren't living like those in moscow or petersburg; the disparety is huge. personally i don't really like that the country has total control of the media. or that putin jailed khordovsky took his company sliced it apart and put it under government control. also why isn't all this money being shared with the people? imo seems like the older generations have been forgotten about...it's just sad to watch senor citizens line up outside the post office waiting for their crappy pensions while the noveau rich are driving around in their new hummers. the military sounds like hell and god forbid you are hurt because no way the government will help you as seen from all the young men with missing limbs in the subway system.
yes putin has done a lot but he could and SHOULD have done more. |
