| Socialized medicine is not the answer. Socialized insurance is. The second without the first is the most effective arrangement. |

| Government Provided Health Care is retarded because it not really free and it has a huge downside. The only one it works great for are the lazy welfare s. 2 tier system ftw. |

| There is something terribly wrong with the way the american health care works through insurance. Why should even small surgeries like appendectomy cost upwards of $ 20,000 ? It's ridiculous. Why is dental care so expensive ? Is there truly a need for the system to be so prohibitively expensive that you must have insurance to cover the costs? |

| even if the insurance company agreed to the treatment when the letter was sent, she would of still been placed on a waiting list for a transplant and probably would of died waiting for one |

It's hard to discount that alot of the cost is in insuring the hospital itself against lawsuits. I cant quote any numbers but I believe malpractice and other field related insurance coverages are quite high. |

I believe they already had a piece ready for transplant, but the company didn't agree to cover the costs. |

you are so right, the baby boomers medical costs will ruin Canada making cost effieciency so innafective that the country's remaining healthy population will not only find it difficult to get health care, but will also have to foot the bill making prospering very difficult. |
Now, other than the run on sentence that shows your limited writing skills, i am happy you finally said something intelligent. Thanks for that. |
