haha so true. Luckily I picked a tenured one that was willing to work on any topic. All the ones going for tenure want you to do stuff to help them get tenure....so you get a narrow topic, or you just have to work on your own (which isn't all bad)
and publishing is not hard or anything to get scared of. Just send some crap out and fix it :D
but I hope ya like it back there, You should be able to excel there with your education and be super rich! |

Many people I know find the phd to be little to no use for everyday life and more stress. If you're into it, then go for it, but in this case I think the guys made the right choice, even if it is back to the oppressive life of india :p Heat, sand and MS Dhoni :p |

It will take some time to get used to a different quality of life in India. But it feels good to be home after 2 years :gsmile: |
