I'm going to Sunday School for sure, as I said, no desire to go to Space.

Nope, and I don't plan on ever going. :)

Then how can you knock it?

Because

1. It's not the best place in the US to hear beats.

2. I don't care for the talent they bring.

3. I've read a few hundred horror stories over the years on TA, and from friends who have been.

4. I don't particularly like huge clubs in the first place.

The terrace used to be fun. It's fun for people that have never been. I have been there since the beginning and can say it is not what it used to be. They do have good talent once in a while up there, but the resident talent they have had over the past few years made it dull. The building is getting old, and the quality of patrons decreased immensely as well.
For the WMC, yes they bring good talent. But they overcrowd and overprice the place. I am over sweating my ass off in a Record Label T-shirt, ripped jeans, and sneakers under a giant smoke machine, being poked and pushed around by a bunch of drugged-out, wanna-be "in the spotlight" noobs; who ask you for a cigarette every time you light one for yourself, while trying to sip on your $17 Long Island Ice Tea.
I pointed out the standard because to me it is the west coast version of the terrace @ space, but it's got class, classy patrons, gorgeous woman who don't have any Latino accent, and ten times better of a view.

I think Space is trying to spif up the quality meter a little with the code.

you make some valid points about space having falling off clientele wise but....i will take gorgeous latina women with their gorgeous accents any day of the week whiny annoying hi pitched white chicks who wear too much makeup, bleached out hair, and have no ass any day of week. been to LA, and even with the immense population of the area, the women here are still hotter, there are more of them per capita, and shockinly are far less snobby.:wtf: also not sure you havent been in awhile, but the terrace has taken on some nice cosmetic and aesthetic changes, still not as classy as the standard, but taking steps in the right direction.

another thing that never cease to amaze me is that it always seems to be this time of year that we get a bunch of too cool for school, cranky out of towners who have to space hate, and pawn off some names in different parts of the country that are so vastly better than space, as they prepare to descend upon our city. ICE in vegas? lmao, sorry not interested in bumping elbows with a bunch of Gap clotehed midwesteners and red staters blowing their life savings over a long weekend for varsity football captain Jonnys big bachelor party blowout. the place has the vibe of a six flags amusement park.

dont get me wrong space isnt for everyone, but during WMC you will get bumped into by drugged out people in EVERY god damn venue, it is catergorically disingenuous to say otherwise, and to say that only pertains to space, give me a break. i agree with knittybone, the terrace is the best place to listen to beats in the US, and hell north america hands down. space to the year 2100 and beyond, Yay yay!!!:wtf:
DiegoParra32
i really don't have a problem with that venue as much as i have a problem with the "in crowd" of miami. i can't stand those mother******s.

Not only that which I agree and laughed at, but ICE is closed

Get over it. Stop comapring the past before we start hearing about liquid, twilo, limelight, etc.

As far as the women out on the west coast compared to Miami, Miami has their share of, but the women have a little more class on the west coast imo. I am sorry but LA has their fair share of HOTTER latinas, even better Mexican women who blow Selma Hayek away. Not everyone goes for the Miami style latinas.
