Anyone addicted to Gambling?

I know there are tons of you out there who must be addicted to gambling.
I use to be pretty bad. We'd play Poker like 8 hours a day. We'd sit in the cafeteria at our University and play freezeout tournaments all day long. Then we'd play online all the time, or just go to the casino.
Man, those were the days. Have gotten a lot better since then.
Just though of this right now since i'm sitting at home betting on horse racing.
Got I hate having digital cable..it gives me 24 hour access to live horse racing :( |

| I spent 32 hours straight playing poker at a casino. I've been pretty good as of late but I use to go to the casino for a minimum of 10-12 hours at a time at least once every three weeks |

i wasn't really into gambling and i witnessed first hand why i shouldn't get into it. my ex's dad lost his business and house due to his out of control gambling and was left with nearly nothing.
even going to the casino is not a pleasant experience for me because the bell sounds coming from slot machines make me nauseous and seeing all those retired people glued to the slots like their lives depended on it just depresses me. given those reasons i really don't feel like i'm missing out on anything. |

there are a few ways..
I have a Sony Location Free TV box...so I can use my PSP.
Essentially, you plug your TV into this box which is hooked up to the internet.
You just connect to the box via the Internet.
I think the slingbox is the best one out there. |

The father of a girl I used to swim with when I was a child shot and killed himself over his gambling addiction. He was the perfect husband, father and community figure - he was very well known in the town I grew up in, but no one had any idea of his secret life. It's like something out of a movie.
I have played poker and gone to casinos before but never felt any addictive twinge. |
