Everyone has the right to voice his/her opinions on here whether you agree with them or not. If Rachel is pissed off about this thread, I highly doubt that anything that anyone else says will change her mind. It will probably anger her more, but by the looks of it, that's what you are all trying to do.
Anyway, I think everyone should just STFU.

i dont believe in this until i see the suspects. everytime a child porn bust news comes out, theres never any suspects. they always say the number of persons involved, but no names or pictures of the suspects.. i think the cops are just trying to scare people so that no one breaks the law.

just to note, to clarify... kiddy porn would also include pictures of kids that are not in fact engaged in any sexual acts at all. Just pics of naked kids (doing nothing, but say, standing or sitting innocently) is kiddy porn too.
(ur post's argument above only implied that the gross factor was that the kids were forced to have sex. . . but the taking and distributing of naked kids (as porn) is just as wrong, even though there is no sex involved, just naked children. of course even that much is taking advantage of kids who are helpless to prevent such abuse of themselves.

Realize too that when they say "sexual offences against children" they mean also the act of taking photos of naked children to be use/distributed as child porn.
"sexual offences against children" does not just mean rape at all.
kiddy porn itself is a sexual offense against children.
So of those 30% who CTV is saying also commit these sex offences against children, ill bet a good percentage of those cases refers to perverts and pedophiles who are snapping pics of kids (as opposed to perverts and pedophiles who are ing these kids) |
